Getting Started
How much does EventSathi cost?+
EventSathi is free during our pilot. If we add paid plans later, we will show prices before anyone is charged.
Do I need an account?+
Yes. You sign in with your mobile number and a one-time code, so there is no password to remember.
Is my data safe?+
We never sell your data or use private event information for advertising. You can delete your account any time. See our Trust page and Privacy Policy for details.
How do I delete my account?+
In the app, go to Profile → Settings → Delete Account and confirm with a one-time code. You have 7 days to change your mind; after that the deletion is final. If you no longer have the app, see our Delete Account page.
Can people under 18 use EventSathi?+
Only with the consent and supervision of a parent or guardian. The app is not offered to children under 13.

Can I create more than one event?+
As many as you like, whenever you like.

Guests
Can I upload my guest list instead of typing it in?+
Yes. Bring a spreadsheet, or add people one at a time. Either way works.
How do guests RSVP?+
They tap a link you send, by message or as a shareable link. No app download required on their end.
Vendors
Where do I find vendors?+
Right inside the app. Our marketplace covers catering, photography, decor, and more.
Can I talk to vendors without leaving the app?+
Yes, built-in chat keeps every conversation attached to the event it belongs to.
Privacy & safety
Why does the app ask for my contacts?+
So you can pick people to add to your event instead of typing their numbers. Your contact list stays on your phone; only the people you add are saved to the event. You can always type a number instead, and turn access off in your phone’s settings.
Why does the app ask for my photos or camera?+
Only when you add a picture — to your profile, the event album, a wish, a review or a business portfolio — or scan guest passes at the gate. You choose each photo, and nothing is recorded.
Who can see and remove what’s posted in my event?+
Events are private and invite-only. Hosts and planners can delete any wish or photo and remove anyone from the event, which also ends their access to its chats.
How do I report something?+
Tap ⋮ → Report on an event, a photo, a business listing or a review. Our team reviews reports within 24 hours. You can also write to hello@eventsathi.com.
Does EventSathi send notifications?+
Only about events you’re part of, such as reminders and updates. No marketing. Turn them off any time in your phone’s settings.
Can I lock the app with my fingerprint or face?+
Yes, if you want to: Profile → Settings → App lock. Your phone does the check; EventSathi never receives your fingerprint or face data.
